We are an international Internal Medicine, functional medicine, & aesthetics practice seeking Medical Assistant with a high school diploma & 2 yrs exp in primary care internal medicine, functional medicine serving patients w/ chronic diseases including autism related disorders, & in aesthetic medical treatment. License, Certification & Registration req'd: State licensure for practical/vocational nurse or medical assistant certificate. Knowledge required: EPIC electronic medical records, assisting in examination, diagnostic and treatment room procedures, aseptic technique, safety and infection control precautions, CPT and ICD-10 coding systems, use of stethoscope and sphygmomanometer, of peak flow meter, and multiple office devices and equipment including Body Impedance Analysis, EKG, Hyperbaric oxygen chamber, and Refresh MedSpa equipment (i.e. Accufit, Verju, Emsculptneo, Genuis, LaseMD, Tempsure, Emface, Emtone.);10-day detox, gluten-free, and dairy-free diets, healthy recipes, specialized laboratory testing, and supplements; be responsible for compliance with HIPAA and OSHA policies, train less experienced support personnel, the sale of nutraceutical and skin care products used in the practice, and assisting the physicians with all aspects of administrative practice, patient therapy, IV therapy, mental health, weight loss, and XLR8 Cold Laser therapies.
