XLR8 Cold Laser Therapy Treatment

Advance Biomedical Treatment Center has acquired an Erchonia XLR8 Laser – an FDA-approved low-level laser that combats both chronic and acute pain using the power of light. In contrast to the high-power, high-heat lasers that are used in various surgical procedures, Erchonia lasers produce a low-level, or cold output that has no thermal effect on the body's tissue. Instead, the cold laser serves to stimulate biological function similar to photosynthesis in plants.

The Erchonia cold laser therapy is non-invasive, painless and speeds the recovery process by encouraging cell regeneration. Treatment with the laser also improves range of motion and decreases inflammation and pain, thus reducing the need for medication.

Dr. Comia extolls, "This is a no-brainer!  The XLR8 cold laser gives near-miraculous results, relieving chronic pain within minutes.   No side effects, no contraindications, quick and inexpensive.  Results are lasting and additive.  It gets rid of the need for painkillers for good, avoids need for steroid injections and even surgery.  Most impressively, it can treat almost any condition – from anxiety and depression, abdominal pain, acute and chronic wound infections, immune dysfunction, etc.  Everyone will benefit from this exciting technology. This is the most natural approach to pain relief and more.”

Erchonia Corporation, the global leader in low level laser healthcare applications was the first to receive FDA market clearance for the treatment of chronic pain with laser therapy, proven through two double blind IRB studies.

Erchonia Low level lasers have been proven effective for the treatment of acute, and chronic pain, post-operative pain, body contouring of the waist, hips, thighs, and arms, acne, and for the treatment of cellulite.

What To Expect

XLR8 cold laser therapy is a low-level laser therapy that uses low intensity photonic energy as a treatment modality. Photonic stimuli excite the body cells infusing them with energy, with the three primary reactions being reduction of inflammation, cell regeneration, and increased blood flow.

Low-level laser therapy is a non-invasive, fast and effective modality that has been proven in clinical trials to reduce pain, reduce edema, and promote healing. It is not painful, for some experiencing a little tingling. The mechanics of low low-level laser therapy is based on the indication for use; however, the general process is the probe containing the laser diode(s) are held in place or moved gently over the treatment area at a distance of anywhere from 4” – 12.” Progress is immediately evident.

Erchonia Corporation, the manufacturer of the XLR8, has sponsored numerous clinical trials and continues to promote low-level laser as a modality through ongoing research.
