Booking An Appointment
To schedule an appointment, please call our office (860)242-2200. Prior to booking an appointment, please contact your insurance company to inquire if Dr. Comia is a participating provider with your insurance plan. Once that is affirmed, kindly call the office so we may book you an appointment. Your call will be triaged as to whether the appointment will be scheduled under the Internal Medicine practice or the Integrative Medicine practice. For your first visit, the consultation normally lasts about 30 minutes.
If you have an HMO type of plan, you need to inform your insurance company that you would like to have Dr. Comia as your Primary Care Physician (PCP). If, however, you already have a PCP and you do not want to change to Dr. Comia, you will need to obtain a referral note from your current PCP so we can accommodate you to our practice. Please note that there is no guarantee that your visit will be covered by your plan; the coverage and benefits of your insurance plan is your responsibility.
